Türkiye's leading crane and lifting systems manufacturer Çakmak Crane continues to strengthen its presence in global markets through nearly 50 years of experience, a strong R&D infrastructure, and advanced engineering capabilities. Operating from its modern manufacturing facilities in Sakarya, the company produces crane systems under its CMAK brand with lifting capacities ranging from 1 ton to 160 tons.
Orçun Çakmak, Deputy General Manager of Çakmak Crane, said the company has become one of the industry's strongest brands by developing high-quality, reliable, and innovative crane solutions since its establishment in 1977.
High-efficiency crane solutions
Çakmak stated that the company's success is built on continuous investment in research and development, engineering expertise, and a quality-focused manufacturing approach. He noted that CMAK has become a preferred brand not only in Türkiye but also in international markets.
He explained that the company offers a broad product portfolio, including electric wire rope hoists, overhead travelling cranes, gantry cranes, and jib cranes, providing customized solutions for a wide range of industries.
Emphasizing that CMAK has earned global recognition through nearly half a century of experience, Çakmak said the company will continue to strengthen its position in international markets through innovation, engineering excellence, and quality-driven production. In addition to its standard crane systems, the company also manufactures high-efficiency cranes for customized industrial projects and is the only manufacturer in Türkiye capable of producing crane systems with lifting capacities ranging from 1 ton to 160 tons.

Smart crane systems
Highlighting that Çakmak Crane has the widest product range in Türkiye, Orçun Çakmak said the company continues to invest in new products and plans to begin serial production of a new generation of electric chain hoists designed for light-duty lifting applications by the end of the year.
Stating that the testing and software development processes have been completed, Çakmak said:
"We aim to begin serial production of our electric chain hoists, designed for lifting loads between 1 and 2 tons, during the final quarter of this year. It will be a next-generation product that is easy to install and suitable for use across various industries. From product design to software development, every stage is carried out in-house. There are very few companies in Türkiye capable of fully integrated production on this scale. We manage industrial design, engineering, software development, and manufacturing entirely within our organization.
The smart crane systems we have developed through continuous R&D investments are now used safely in many countries around the world. Our CMAK-branded cranes are preferred in numerous international markets, including China. Thanks to nearly 50 years of accumulated expertise and our smart crane technologies, we have established a strong position in global markets. New production facility planned in Yalova
Commenting on the company's export activities, Çakmak said that CMAK is actively operating in many international markets, particularly across Europe and the United States, adding that the company has its own offices and teams in Germany and the United States.
He also announced new investment plans as part of the company's long-term growth strategy. While production currently continues at the Sakarya facility, Çakmak said the company plans to establish a new manufacturing plant in Yalova.
He noted that the investment will be launched once economic conditions become favorable, supporting the company's long-term expansion strategy and increasing its global production capacity.
