Sakarya-based Anadolu Teknik Makina Sanayi, a manufacturer of industrial cleaning equipment, continues to strengthen its position in international markets with exports to 50 countries while preparing for a new phase of growth through cooperation with China.

The company manufactures nearly 100 models of industrial cleaning machines under its Safran and Armada Clean brands. Backed by more than 30 years of industry experience, Anadolu Teknik Makina has become one of Türkiye's and Europe's largest manufacturers of industrial vacuum cleaners. It is also preparing to launch three new models by the end of 2026 following the completion of its research and development activities.

Serving customers through a nationwide network of nearly 90 dealers and service centers, the company has aligned its production and investment strategy with its ambition to become a stronger global brand.

Exports have reached 50 countries

Founder and General Manager Mustafa Bektaş said the company has transformed into an international manufacturer exporting environmentally friendly, energy-efficient products to 50 countries under its motto, "From Anatolia to the World."

Bektaş noted that Anadolu Teknik Makina is among the leading producers of industrial vacuum cleaners in both Türkiye and Europe.

"We estimate that we hold approximately 75% of the Turkish market in this product segment. With a workforce of 100 employees, we operate on a 12,000-square-meter site, including 7,000 square meters of indoor production space. We manufacture industrial cleaning equipment and provide solutions across nearly 20 different product groups."

The company's portfolio includes:

  • Floor scrubber machines

  • Professional vacuum cleaners

  • High-pressure water jet systems

  • Steam cleaning machines

  • Industrial floor polishing and buffing machines

In addition, Anadolu Teknik Makina designs and installs turnkey carpet washing factories across Türkiye and in numerous international markets.

Approximately 70% of production is marketed under the company's own Safran brand, while the remaining 30% is manufactured as OEM (private-label production) for major customers.

The company currently has an annual production capacity of around 30,000 industrial vacuum cleaners, producing approximately 17,000–18,000 units per year on a single-shift operation.

In 2025, around 35% of total production was exported, with particularly strong growth recorded in Africa, the Turkic Republics, and European markets.

Bektaş attributed the company's export success to its competitive price-performance ratio, high manufacturing quality, and responsive after-sales service.

Joint production with a Chinese partner

Looking ahead, Bektaş outlined the company's investment roadmap.

"Within the next two to three years, we aim to relocate to our own manufacturing facility. At the same time, we continue to develop new products and expect to introduce three additional models by the end of this year."

The company is also expanding its international partnerships.

"We are working with one of our manufacturing partners in China on joint production and assembly operations in Türkiye. In addition, we are collaborating with partners in Uzbekistan, as well as other Turkic Republics and Russia, to establish a regional production infrastructure."

For the 2026–2030 period, Anadolu Teknik Makina's strategic priorities include relocating to its own factory, enhancing product innovation and competitiveness, increasing exports, and expanding market share both domestically and internationally.

Continuous R&D investment

Bektaş emphasized that continuous investment in research and development remains one of the company's core strengths.

He noted that Anadolu Teknik Makina continues to grow by introducing newly designed and registered products each year while supporting leading domestic and international brands through OEM manufacturing, which accounts for around 30% of total production.

According to Bektaş, customers prefer the company's products because of their low operating costs, economical maintenance requirements, and long service life.

Approximately 65–70% of sales are generated in the domestic market, while the remainder comes from exports.

The company's strongest export markets include the Turkic Republics, Africa, the Balkans, and Arab countries, with Africa emerging as its fastest-growing export destination in recent years.

Among its best-selling international products are industrial vacuum cleaners, automatic carpet washing machines, and a wide range of professional cleaning equipment.
