A 1 billion lira investment to be added to the city’s infrastructure by the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (SASKİ) has been approved by the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipal Council.

Within the scope of the investment, a strong infrastructure network to be established at various points across the city will reduce the rate of water loss to minimum levels. In addition, new drinking water reservoirs will be constructed to ensure uninterrupted service without compromising service quality.

While the service network will be expanded through the purchase of new construction machinery, necessary equipment will also be supplied to respond instantly to citizens’ requests. To maintain the high quality of the city’s tap water—considered among the best and drinkable directly from the tap in Türkiye—new laboratory equipment will be integrated into the most comprehensive laboratory service building in the Marmara Region.
