Tender Date Announced for the AFA Congress and Cultural Center

The long-awaited tender date for the AFA Congress and Cultural Center project has been announced. The project, which was prepared by the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality and submitted to TOKİ, will go out to tender on Tuesday, March 4, at 11:30 a.m.

Sakarya Metropolitan Mayor Yusuf Alemdar shared the following details on the matter:

“We are delighted to be bringing the AFA Cultural and Congress Center—an important and long-awaited need of our city—back to Sakarya. We recently completed the design phase of the AFA Congress and Cultural Center project and submitted it to TOKİ. The tender date has now been set. The tender will be held on March 4. The project will have a construction area of 12,000 square meters and will include a main hall with a seating capacity of 1,000, an underground parking garage, spacious foyer areas, multipurpose halls, classrooms, and workshops. Our new project will host congresses, conferences, theater performances, concerts, and various cultural and artistic events.”
