SAMİB to Prepare Deeper and More Impactful New Projects

The future vision of Turkey’s machinery sector, which represents the country’s industrial strength, is being reshaped in Sakarya. Since its establishment in 2010, the Sakarya Machinery Manufacturers Association (SAMİB) has been striving to build a strong foundation for the machinery sector through the synergy it has created and the projects it has implemented, while continuing its strategic initiatives. Hosting the Machinery Summit in Sapanca, SAMİB brought together industry representatives in a high-profile event where visions were shared, solutions to problems were developed, and strategic steps to be taken in the global competitive environment were discussed. With the strategic strength it has built through clustering, SAMİB has elevated the machinery sector to new heights.

In its 15th anniversary year, SAMİB brought together the machinery manufacturing sector in a significant organization held under the motto “The Center of Value-Added Manufacturing: KADİM Sakarya.”

Led by SAMİB and with Ekonomi Newspaper as the press sponsor, the one-day Machinery Summit in Sapanca focused on Qualified Workforce, Productivity, Innovation, and Sustainability. Strategic recommendations for the future of the sector were presented by representatives from the public sector, private sector, and academia.

In addition, a meaningful environmental awareness initiative was carried out by donating saplings to the TEMA Foundation on behalf of the opening and panel speakers of the SAMİB Machinery Summit. Throughout the event, knowledge sharing, collaboration opportunities, and sectoral solidarity came to the forefront. Meanwhile, panels addressed critical issues such as fragilities in the global supply chain, boosting domestic production, green transformation policies, and the machinery sector’s adaptation to Industry 5.0, all discussed in detail with presentations from expert speakers.
