Karmetal Plans Investment in North Macedonia

With a strong manufacturing culture backed by a 50-year history, Karmetal produces band saw and circular saw machines as well as 6-axis robotic arms, mobile robots, and zero-backlash globoid gearboxes.

Karmetal Overseas Sales Director Semih Kar stated that in its second 50-year period, the company will focus on larger and more global markets. He emphasized that the firm, founded in 1975, has leveraged the experience gained over five decades to establish a strong brand presence in international markets.

Noting that Karmetal operates two production facilities in Sakarya, Kar said the company also has offices in Germany and the United States, and is planning an investment in North Macedonia. He explained that the investment in North Macedonia will enable faster access to European markets and that they aim to implement this investment in 2027.
