Continuing its growth with new investments and new products, Karmetal has become a strong brand in global markets over the past 50 years.

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, Karmetal—whose main export markets are European countries and the United States—is also strengthening its brand recognition in South America and the Far East through an extensive sales network established in these regions.Karmetal’s Foreign Sales Director, Semih Kar, stated that the company plans to manufacture autonomous band saws, autonomous circular saws, industrial robots, and autonomous mobile robots at their new facility to be built in the Makina Specialized Industrial Zone.

Karmetal Has Its Own Companies in Chicago, USA and Düsseldorf, Germany

Providing insights into their goals for the next 50 years, Semih Kar emphasized that they are taking significant steps to expand their export markets. Highlighting Karmetal’s strong production infrastructure and its 50 years of experience and know-how, Kar noted that the company has been exporting since 2001.

He added: “We are taking important steps to expand our export market. As of today, we export to more than 80 countries through our distributors, and we also have our own companies in Chicago, USA and Düsseldorf, Germany. In both countries, we maintain machine and spare parts inventories to provide fast and reliable deliveries to our regional dealers. Our main export markets are European countries and the United States. However, as a result of our efforts to expand our export network, we have established key distributorships in South America and Far East Asia, significantly increasing our brand recognition in these regions.”

Karmetal Was Founded by Metin Kar in 1975

Founded in 1975 by Metin Kar, Karmetal began its operations by manufacturing various machines and, in the mid-1980s, expanded its activities to produce spare parts for the defense industry. The company served the defense sector for more than 15 years before starting the production of saw machines—its current main business—at the beginning of the 2000s. Today, Karmetal’s core operations include the production of band saw machines, autonomous band saw machines, and autonomous circular saw machines, as well as the manufacturing of industrial robots and autonomous mobile robots. Since 2001, Karmetal has been steadily expanding its export markets while continuing to invest in new technologies and develop innovative products.
