Kar Metal, brings new technologies to metal cutting machines

Continuing to introduce new technologies to the metal cutting machine sector, Kar

Metal is preparing for new investments. The company has also completed the

production of the ARX Tower system, which it designed as a result of R&D studies.

Çetin Kar, the Domestic Sales Manager of Kar Metal, shared information about the

company's production and investment goals. He mentioned that with their newly developed autonomous metal cutting machines, they aim for rapid growth in global

markets. He also stated that they are accelerating new investment efforts to

strengthen their production infrastructure. Kar provided the following details: “With

the technologies we have developed, we continue to add value to metal cutting

machines. We export our metal cutting machines, which we produce in nearly 60

different types, to 85 countries. Our machines, which we produce in two different

segments, circular saws and band saws for pipe and profile cutting, provide the

ability to cut thin or thick-walled pipes up to 1,300 mm in diameter at one-third of

the speed.”

Çetin Kar emphasized the importance of R&D efforts to further develop the

production of cutting machines with advanced technologies. He also mentioned that

they are working to strengthen their production infrastructure. He shared the

following information: “We produce machines in two different segments for pipe and

profile cutting, circular saws and band saws. These machines allow cutting thin or

thick-walled pipes up to 1,300 mm in diameter at one-third of the speed. Another

product of ours is the ARX system, which we call the tower, a storage and cutting

machine preparation system. This new product enables materials like pipes and

profiles in factory buildings to be stored vertically, allowing them to be moved to

production and prepared for cutting. Our metal cutting machines, developed with

advanced technologies, provide significant energy savings thanks to the smart

cutting mode, which adjusts based on the thickness of the pipe or profile. We are

continuing our mass production efforts for this. With this system, we have also

solved the problem of storing round materials. This system allows the storage of

round materials and enables pipes to be stored vertically, one on top of the other. It

also provides space advantages and allows us to see real-time stock movements.”
