Gün İnşaat to Build a Women’s Guesthouse in Adapazarı

A protocol signing ceremony was held between Adapazarı Municipality and Gün İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. for the construction of a Women’s Guesthouse on Alparslan Türkeş Avenue.

The project, officially launched with the signatures of Adapazarı Mayor Mutlu Işıksu and Gün İnşaat A.Ş. executives Vahap Gün, Cem Gün, and Ahmet Cihan Gün, will be brought to Adapazarı entirely through philanthropic support.

Speaking at the ceremony, Adapazarı Mayor Mutlu Işıksu stated that the project, prepared with the aim of hosting women in need of accommodation in a safe and peaceful environment, would be one of the finest examples of solidarity. Mayor Işıksu expressed his gratitude to the philanthropic Gün family for undertaking this project, which will strengthen the city’s culture of social responsibility.

 

Modern and Secure Facility

Cem Gün, one of the executives of Gün İnşaat and Vice Chairman of the Board of Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO), expressed their satisfaction in undertaking such a charitable effort on the anniversary of their late father Nihat Gün’s passing, saying:

“We are part of a faith that believes in the continuation of charity for generations. Contributing to this valuable initiative has been a source of great motivation for our family. We thank our esteemed Mayor, his team, and both our SATSO and Adapazarı Municipality council member Behlül Bayrak for their efforts, and we wish for it to be beneficial.”

The Women’s Guesthouse will provide safe, warm, and professional support to women in need of shelter, adding new strength to Adapazarı’s social services vision. The facility will feature a total indoor area of 500 square meters, a modern two-story design, and will be constructed entirely through donations. The project will proceed in accordance with the technical specifications approved by the municipality, and upon completion, it will be transferred to Adapazarı Municipality with all its rights.
