The Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality has launched a Pet Food Production Facility to meet the nutritional needs of stray animals and to establish a sustainable food production chain.
With the facility now operational, the feeding needs of stray animals in the shelters will be met using leftover food waste. At the facility, which has completed its testing phase, healthy, additive-free, and high-protein pet food is produced using modern production equipment and advanced processing techniques.
Food leftovers, carefully collected from factories by dedicated teams, are processed through various methods to create high-quality pet food.

Ending Food Waste, Contributing to Nature
The usable food waste processed at the Natural Life Campus, which covers an area of 87 decares, not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also ensures the nourishment of the animals living within the campus.
Through this process, food waste is prevented, and the production cycle is carried out with a completely eco-friendly approach.
