A strategic cooperation protocol has been signed between Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ) and the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan (IUTET). The protocol was signed by SUBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sarıbıyık and IUTET Rector Prof. Dr. Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor. Based on cooperation agreements between the two countries in the fields of education and science, the protocol aims to enhance academic exchange, joint research projects, and cultural interaction.
Details of the Cooperation
Within the scope of the protocol, student exchange programs at associate, undergraduate, and graduate levels, as well as mobility of academic and administrative staff will be carried out between the two universities. In addition to educational activities, joint scientific conferences, seminars, and symposiums will be organized, and research projects focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship will be encouraged. Furthermore, mutual sharing of library resources and scientific publications will enable both institutions to benefit from each other’s academic expertise, while cultural and sports activities will help strengthen social ties.

“Central Asia and Tajikistan are regions of great value to us, with which we share deep historical and cultural connections. With this protocol signed today, we are further strengthening our bridges in education and science. IUTET’s focus on tourism and entrepreneurship aligns perfectly with our vision of ‘integrating knowledge with skills.’ I believe that the research and projects we will carry out together will add great value to both our countries and our universities.”

By combining our academic strengths—especially in tourism, entrepreneurship, and technology—we aim to provide our students with an international perspective. The opportunities offered by this protocol will open new doors for our research centers and academic staff.”
