21 Companies from Sakarya Ranked Among Türkiye’s Second Largest 500 Industrial Enterprises

A total of 21 companies from Sakarya have been included in the Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s (ISO) Second 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises of Türkiye – 2025 list. Combined with the companies listed in the ISO Top 500, 56 Sakarya-based firms are now ranked among Türkiye’s 1,000 largest industrial enterprises, underscoring the province’s growing strength in manufacturing and exports.

The results of the "ISO Second 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises of Türkiye – 2025" survey, published annually by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, highlight Sakarya’s continued rise as one of the country’s leading industrial hubs. The province secured 21 positions in the Second 500 ranking, bringing the total number of Sakarya companies featured in the combined Top 1,000 industrial enterprises to 56.

The figures once again demonstrate Sakarya’s strong manufacturing base and its sustained industrial growth.

"Industrialists Focused on Survival Rather Than Investment"

Commenting on the results, Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SATSO) Chairman A. Akgün Altuğ said Sakarya’s manufacturers have continued to produce and export despite challenging economic conditions.

Altuğ noted that high financing costs, weakening domestic demand, the imbalance between exchange rates and production costs, and growing uncertainty in global trade have placed significant pressure on manufacturers.

"Sakarya is represented by 35 companies in the ISO Top 500 and 21 companies in the Second 500, bringing the total to 56 firms among Türkiye’s largest 1,000 industrial enterprises. During this period, our industrialists were fighting to remain operational rather than making new investments. Nevertheless, they continued to produce, export, and create added value for our country's economy," he said.
