Sakarya’s July Exports Reach USD 556.5 Million

Sakarya’s exports reached USD 3.210 billion during the first seven months of 2026.

In July, the city’s top five export sectors were, respectively, Automotive Industry, Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals, Steel, Chemicals and Chemical Products, and Machinery and Components.

Sakarya increased its exports in 17 of its 25 main sectors in July compared to the same month of the previous year.

Notable increases, both in percentage terms and export value, were recorded particularly in the Steel, Machinery and Components, Automotive Industry, Electrical and Electronics, and Hazelnuts and Hazelnut Products sectors.

In July 2026, Sakarya exported goods to 118 destinations worldwide, including free zones. France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Poland, and Italy were the city’s top five export markets during the month.
