It was also reported that 1,893 people benefited from a total of 370 courses and programs organized during the same period to support employment and vocational training, helping them acquire professional skills and find employment.

Skilled Workforce
Speaking at the meeting, Sakarya Deputy Governor Turgut Subaşı said:
“A skilled workforce is important for increasing, protecting, and ensuring the sustainability of employment. Therefore, a skilled workforce is the driving force behind employment and the key to securing it. For this reason, we must continue to increase the number of skilled workers. We are pleased to see that interest in vocational high schools and vocational training centers has increased in recent years. Moreover, it is never too late to learn a profession. There are also many short-term courses and training programs that enable adults to acquire professional skills and qualify for a range of occupations by improving their skill levels. İŞKUR’s courses and programs help address a significant need in this regard.”
