Burda Bebek, increases the number of female employees

Zeki Armağan, General Manager of Burda Bebek, stated that the active participation of women in the workforce across all sectors is of great importance for sustainable development. Emphasizing the value they place on the insights and evaluations of their female employees, particularly those based on their life experiences — including in product development — Armağan noted that their products, which are manufactured to international quality standards, are offered to consumers at over 30,000 sales points and exported to more than 50 countries.

Armağan proudly shared that Burda Bebek, known for prioritizing female employment, has reached a female workforce rate of 59%, and that they take pride in giving priority to women as part of the Burda Bebek family.“With our ever-growing and dynamic team, we continue our mission to offer innovative, internationally standardized products to our consumers,” said Armağan. He continued:“Our factory operates on a 15,000-square-meter area in Hendek, Sakarya, and is the largest mother and baby products manufacturing facility in both Turkey and the Middle East. With a female employee ratio of 59%, our company far exceeds the national average in Turkey. I believe that women's active participation in working life in all sectors is vital for sustainable development. Women make a difference in every field with their unique talents, sensitivity, and dedicated and meticulous work. As a manager, I am also proud that Burda Bebek is one of the most preferred companies in the region thanks to its women-focused employment policy and safe working environment.”
