Ant Group Prepares to Celebrate Its 50th Anniversary at Its New Facility

Ant Group, one of the world’s leading companies in mining machinery manufacturing, is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary at its new factory. Founded in 1976, Ant Group exports 90% of the machines it produces.

Ata Önuçak, the second-generation manager of Ant Group, said that in 2026 they will celebrate both their half-century of experience and their new investment and vision. Önuçak noted that they have been growing continuously for 50 years and that 2026 will be a turning point for Ant Group.

He stated that with lean production in the new factory, they will have a faster, higher-capacity, and stronger export potential, alongside expansion into new countries.

A Strong Start to the Next 50 Years

Ata Önuçak said that in addition to their new facility investments aimed at increasing production capacity, they also prioritize being active in the social sphere. He emphasized that in their 50th anniversary year, they will unite art with industry through their lean production strategy and strong infrastructure.

Önuçak continued:

“As part of our growth plans, with investments such as new CNC machines and a new sandblasting unit, we will make a strong start to the next 50 years. Ant Group will add meaning to its 50th year not only through new investments but also with art. We will showcase our painting and sculpture collection—comprising works by various artists—to art enthusiasts in our new building. We want to create a work environment intertwined with art. This step will contribute not only to Ant Group but also to the personal development of our employees.”

Sharing that the new factory building is being constructed on a 17,000-square-meter area in the Hendek 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, Önuçak added:

“In our new factory, which will also include a sandblasting and painting line, we will establish a more organized layout and production line. With additional new machinery and equipment investments, we will increase our production capacity. We will be able to produce more environmentally friendly machines and equipment. With our new facility, machinery, and equipment investments, we will elevate our globally recognized and respected name to an even stronger position.”

Ant Group has become one of the leading companies in the sector by realizing numerous projects with domestic and national production in the mining industry.

In recent years, with its sustainability-focused production investments, it has increased its export rate to around 90%, becoming a strong global brand in international markets.
