Sakarya Machinery Manufacturers Association (SAMİB) continues to guide the machinery industry with its innovative strategies. Since its establishment, SAMİB has carried out significant work in line with its goals of sectoral cooperation, a shared vision, and sustainable development. The transformation process initiated through the clustering model has been elevated to a new level with the project “Center of Value-Added Manufacturing SAKARYA” (KADİM SAKARYA).

Under the moderation of Economy Newspaper columnist Dr. Rüştü Bozkurt, nearly 15 meetings were held over a two-year period. As a result of discussions held under various themes such as productivity increase, qualified workforce, innovation, exports, R&D, sustainability, specialization, digital transformation, and institutionalization, a rich dataset was created for the Sakarya machinery sector. A 92-page Machinery Sector Roadmap and Workshop Report was prepared. The report, developed within the framework of activities carried out under the motto “KADİM SAKARYA” serves as a valuable resource that brings together the knowledge and experience of leading figures, academics, and experts in the machinery industry.
