Since its establishment, the company has operated across a wide range of activities—from railway maintenance and repair services to design and production projects that require advanced engineering. Today, Özbir Vagon Sanayi is not only a manufacturer but also a technology and engineering center. Although most of our ongoing projects are national, we also collaborate with OEMs in six different countries, primarily Switzerland and Germany.”
Over the next decade, Özbir Vagon Sanayi plans to invest in hybrid and electric vehicle technologies, smart maintenance systems, energy-efficient components, and advanced manufacturing techniques that reduce carbon footprint.

Özbir Vagon Sanayi
Founded in 2005, ÖZBİR VAGON SANAYİ was established to meet Turkey’s maintenance and repair needs in the railway sector. In its early years, the company mainly focused on the maintenance of freight and passenger wagons. Over time, it transformed its accumulated technical expertise and field experience into design and production capabilities.
One of the most significant milestones in this transformation was its participation in Turkey’s national railway projects. In these projects, ÖZBİR VAGON SANAYİ not only provided maintenance and repair services but also took on the design and production of electromechanical components such as driver desks, electrical cabinets, cable ducts, and toilet modules—securing a unique position in the industry.
