University-Industry Collaboration

Speaking at the Co-Work event, where the heart of industry and academia beats together, Chairman of the Board of Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Akgün Altuğ, stated:

“Through events like these, organized to strengthen university-industry collaboration and pave the way for innovative initiatives, the business world and new ideas meet with our students, academics, and industry representatives. This collaboration should not remain limited to information sharing. It must be supported with financial solutions to deliver concrete contributions. That is why, with our Co-Work events, we aim to integrate entrepreneurial ideas, technology, and industry more effectively. In our previous Co-Work events, we focused on design projects, industrial collaborations, the defense sector, and similar areas. A total of 2,671 participants, 46 companies, and 269 project ideas took part. While blending these business ideas with an academic approach, we also bring together job seekers and employers through our SATSO career platform, offering qualified employees sought by the business world after a professional evaluation process. As SATSO, we will continue to support this program.”
