The second edition of the ROBOTEK Technology and Robotics Olympics has been held in Sakarya. Organized in collaboration with the Sakarya Machinery Manufacturers Association (SAMİB) and Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ), the event concluded with awards being presented to students who achieved top rankings.
Held at the Sports Sciences Faculty of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences, the ROBOTEK Olympics aimed to enhance young people's technological design and application skills while encouraging them to become productive and entrepreneurial individuals. A total of 800,000 Turkish lira in prize money was distributed to the students who ranked among the best performers.
A total of 740 teams, ranging from primary school to university level, participated in the two-day event. Students competed with their innovative designs and projects while also showcasing the technologies they had developed.

During the competition, prizes were awarded in eight different categories:
Mini Sumo Robot Competition
Line Following Robot Competition
Robo Football Competition
Design and Develop Competition
Combat Robot Competition
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Competition
Maze Solving Competition
Open Category
The event provided participants with an opportunity not only to test their engineering and problem-solving skills but also to demonstrate creativity, teamwork, and innovative thinking.
By bringing together hundreds of students from different educational levels, the ROBOTEK Olympics once again highlighted Sakarya's growing role in fostering technology-oriented education and nurturing the engineers, innovators, and entrepreneurs of the future.
