Sakarya-based Karmetal is redesigning the internal logistics processes of factories with the “Servant” autonomous mobile robots it has developed. The company aims to become a strong technology brand in the European, North American and Middle Eastern markets with its new-generation, AI-supported robotic technologies.
Transferring its engineering experience in metal-cutting machines and industrial systems to robotic technologies, Karmetal continues to expand its capabilities in this field. With its Servant-branded autonomous mobile robot (AMR) family, Karmetal is preparing to transform the internal logistics infrastructure of manufacturing facilities. Developing high-capacity robotic solutions for heavy industry, Karmetal aims to become an influential player not only in Türkiye but also in global markets.

Robolution
Karmetal Board Member Semih Kar said that Servant is a comprehensive technology ecosystem that will accelerate digital transformation in industry and that the company defines its vision with the concept of “Robolution.”
Semih Kar said Servant autonomous mobile robots can perform many critical tasks fully autonomously in manufacturing facilities, ranging from material transportation and quality control processes to warehouse management and shipping operations.
He noted that the robots do not merely transport loads but also operate as intelligent systems that digitalize production processes.
New-generation models of the Servant platform
Kar said Servant responds to this need as a new-generation solution that generates data, optimizes operations and increases the efficiency of businesses.
He stated that the robotic systems they have developed are used in many industries, particularly metal processing, automotive, white goods, food, energy, logistics and heavy industry.

Semih Kar said they have undertaken important projects, particularly at manufacturing facilities where high-tonnage loads are transported, and provided the following information:
“We develop solutions tailored to the needs of each factory. Instead of standard products, we design robotic systems that are suited to the customer’s production model. We aim to become one of the leading brands of Industry 5.0. In addition, we continue working on new-generation models of the Servant platform, which we have developed as a result of our many years of manufacturing experience and R&D investments. In the coming period, we aim to develop intelligent robotic systems that not only transport loads but also analyze production processes and work with decision-support mechanisms.”

Export-oriented growth
Semih Kar provided the following information:
“Karmetal continues to grow as a successful AMR manufacturer, but we aim to establish a permanent technology brand in international markets, particularly in Europe, North America and the Middle East. We are working to bring engineering solutions developed in Türkiye to global markets. Servant technology offers businesses significant advantages, including increased workforce productivity, reduced operational costs, improved occupational safety and digital management of production processes. We aim for a future in which high technology is exported rather than imported. As Karmetal, we aim to contribute to the global competitiveness of Turkish industry through the domestic robotic technologies we have developed.”
