Awards to Be Presented to Sakarya’s Future Master Craftsmen and Technicians

Gas Welding

A competition aimed at strengthening industry-school collaboration will be held at Fatih Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 18 June 2026, starting at 2:30 p.m.

The competition, titled "Legends of Gas Metal Arc Welding and Stars of the New Transformation", will bring together the future master craftsmen and technicians of Sakarya. It is open to Metal Department students from all vocational high schools across Sakarya.

Sakarya Machinery Manufacturers Association

Organized in cooperation with the Sakarya Machinery Manufacturers Association (SAMİB) and the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of National Education, the event aims to encourage vocational students, showcase their technical skills, and strengthen ties between education and industry.

Students who rank among the top participants in the competition will receive the following awards:

• First Prize: 10,000 TL

• Second Prize: 7,500 TL

• Third Prize: 5,000 TL

• Honorable Mention Award: 2,500 TL

The competition is expected to provide an important platform for vocational students to demonstrate their abilities, gain recognition for their talents, and prepare for successful careers in the manufacturing sector.
