Second Robot Olympics Event to Be Held in Sakarya

Aiming to encourage young people to pursue careers in high-tech manufacturing and engineering, the second edition of the ROBOTEK Robot Olympics will be held on June 13–14, 2026 in Sakarya.
Following the success of the inaugural event last year, the competition will once again be organized through the collaboration of Sakarya Machinery Manufacturers Association (SAMİB) and Sakarya University of Applied Sciences.
The event is designed to support future engineers, innovators, and entrepreneurs while providing an opportunity to showcase the projects and talents of young participants. ROBOTEK is also expected to contribute to the future development of technology-driven industries by fostering innovation and practical engineering skills.
Eight Competition Categories

Participants will demonstrate their engineering, programming, and strategic thinking abilities in eight different categories:
Line Following Robot
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
Mini Sumo Robot
Maze Solving Robot
Combat Robot
Robo Football
Design and Development
Open Category
Industry Collaboration and Career Opportunities
In addition to the competitions, the event will feature industry collaboration exhibitions where students will have the opportunity to visit company booths, meet industry representatives, and learn about internship and employment opportunities.
Participants will also be able to expand their professional networks while gaining first-hand insight into current industrial processes, emerging technologies, and innovations shaping the future of manufacturing and automation.
The ROBOTEK Robot Olympics is expected to bring together students, academics, technology enthusiasts, and industry leaders, further strengthening Sakarya’s position as an important center for technology, innovation, and advanced manufacturing.
