Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Collected 210,000 Kilograms of Waste Vegetable Oil Last Year

In line with ongoing environmental efforts, a total of 210,186 kilograms of waste vegetable oil, along with 4,807.5 kilograms of electronic waste and used batteries, were collected in 2025.

Through these initiatives, the contamination of soil and water resources by heavy and hazardous metals was prevented, contributing not only to environmental protection but also to energy savings and the conservation of natural resources.
