Sakarya is an important production center in Türkiye with its growing industry.

With hot springs in Akyazı and Geyve districts, Sakarya is one of Türkiye’s prominent health tourism centers.

The city has three districts bordering the Black Sea: Kocaali, Karasu, and Kaynarca. These districts offer a 60-kilometer stretch of natural coastline. The fine-grained sea sand found here is also known for its therapeutic properties.
