Köksal Agricultural Machinery Industry Leads the Sector’s Development

Starting its production journey with ploughs and later specializing in the manufacturing of water tankers, trailers, and semi-trailers, Köksal Tarım is set to expand its capacity through new investments.

Founded in 1980 by Ekrem Köksal, the company currently employs 150 people. Under its patented brand “Hummel,” Köksal Tarım exports trailers to more than 30 countries and plans to continue its investment projects through 2026 and beyond.
Köksal Agricultural Machinery Industry Has Been Producing for 45 Years
Pioneering the sector’s development with innovation and technological production, Köksal Agricultural Machinery Industry is nearing completion of its second factory building in the Eastern Marmara Specialized Machinery Manufacturers Organized Industrial Zone.
The new facility will cover 24,000 square meters of open space and 14,000 square meters of indoor area. With this advanced technological infrastructure, Köksal Tarım aims to serve more customers and reach additional international markets.
Providing insights into the company’s production activities and future goals, General Manager Erkan Köksal stated that for 45 years, the company has continued to produce with the strength of farmers, create employment, and contribute to exports.

“Hummel” Brand Products Exported to Over 30 Countries
Ekrem Köksal emphasized that the company continuously develops its products through innovation and new technologies to promote sustainability in agriculture, stating:
“Our company has an extensive dealership network across Türkiye and exports trailers under our patented brand ‘Hummel’ to more than 30 countries. We plan to enter new markets in 2026 and beyond. Each year, we design new products and make revisions according to customer demands and technological advancements. In terms of facility investments, we completed our second factory investment in 2025 and plan to establish a surface treatment and paint facility in the same location in 2026 and beyond. For our new factory, we aim to use renewable energy both in production and in our service and fleet vehicles. With each new machine investment, we prioritize hybrid technology. We mainly export to Europe, North America, Australia, and the Balkans. However, our target market for expansion is Latin America, where we aim to increase our exports. Our annual production capacity includes 2,000 trailers and 1,000 units from other product groups.”

As one of Türkiye’s leading agricultural machinery manufacturers, Köksal Agricultural Machinery Industry was founded by Ekrem Köksal. The company has been operating in the Kaynarca district for 45 years under the leadership of Ekrem Köksal and his sons, Erkan and Erdem Köksal.
