DİA Cloud ERP Laboratory Opened at Sakarya University

The DİA Cloud ERP Laboratory, established at the Faculty of Business Administration of Sakarya University, will provide students with practical training in the field of digital transformation. As a strong example of university–industry collaboration, the project will offer internship and post-graduation employment opportunities to students selected through an examination.
The opening ceremony of the DİA Cloud ERP Laboratory was held at the Faculty of Business Administration of Sakarya University. The ceremony was attended by Sakarya University Rector Prof. Dr. Hamza Al, DİA Software General Manager Suha Onay, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Sima Nart, SATSO Assembly President Erdem Ercan, SATSO Secretary General Şevket Kırıcı, as well as many academicians, business representatives, and students.
As part of the event, plaques were presented to the DİA Software ERP Project Team for their dedicated efforts during the management and “train-the-trainer” processes.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Sakarya University Rector Prof. Dr. Hamza Al thanked DİA Software for its contributions and stated that a meaningful collaboration adding value to the university had been achieved.
Prof. Dr. Hamza Al said:
“Today, we are signing a meaningful collaboration that adds value to our university, our students, and our academicians. Sakarya University, founded in 1970 as an affiliate of Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ), has a strong tradition and great ambitions for the future. At one point, our goal was to rank among the top 20 universities; now, we are working toward entering the top 10. In the long term, our aim is to see Sakarya University among the most respected universities in Turkey and around the world.”

Rector Al also emphasized the importance of cooperation with the private sector and continued:
“We can raise a generation equipped with the skills of the 21st century only through collaboration with the private sector. The DİA Cloud ERP Laboratory will serve as a significant training center for both students and academicians. The step we are taking today may be a small step for the private sector, but it is a big step for Sakarya University. I believe that through this partnership, we will achieve even greater projects and success stories.”
An Important Opportunity for Practical Learning Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Prof. Dr. Sima Nart emphasized that the laboratory, established in cooperation with DİA Software, provides students with an important space for learning and hands-on experience. Expressing her gratitude to DİA Software and everyone who contributed to the project, Prof. Dr. Nart stated that the laboratory will help students enhance their practical skills.
DİA Software General Manager Suha Onay said in his speech:
“We believe in shaping the future of digital transformation together with universities. This laboratory, launched in cooperation with Sakarya University, will allow students not only to gain theoretical knowledge but also to experience the digital processes they will encounter in the business world. We are pleased to contribute to the career journeys of young people empowered by technology.”
Students who will receive training in the laboratory will be selected through an examination to be held within the faculty. Those admitted to the program will benefit from internship opportunities provided by DİA Software during their university years and will have the chance to make a strong start to their careers through post-graduation employment opportunities.
The cooperation between DİA Software and Sakarya University has been recognized as an important step toward equipping the future business world with qualified professionals who are proficient in technology.
