ASRİAD Sakarya plans to expand into the European market through the Balkan countries. Continuing its international business trips under the motto "From Sakarya to the Balkans, from the Balkans to All of Europe," the Sakarya Branch of ASRİAD aims for new partnerships in 2025 and beyond.

Commenting on the outcomes of the Balkans Business Forum held simultaneously in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, Rıdvan Ulusal, President of ASRİAD Sakarya Branch, stated that the factory opened in the city of Gradačac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a joint investment by ASRİAD members, is the first Turkish investment in the region, and they intend to continue such initiatives.

“We want to access the European market through the Balkans,” said Ulusal, emphasizing that the main goal of the forum was to contribute to foreign trade and enhance Sakarya’s export potential. Highlighting that the Balkans place significant value on Turkey, Ulusal noted that some Sakarya-based companies have begun the process of appointing distributors in the region, and visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia are planned in the coming weeks to finalize business connections.

Ulusal, also stated that during the forum, which was attended by 25 companies from Sakarya, regional cooperation and new trade opportunities were explored. He added: “Through the Balkans Business Forum, ASRİAD Sakarya not only established new business ties but also contributed to Turkey’s regional trade diplomacy. Thanks to the relationships established with many institutions and organizations in the region, the groundwork has been laid for trade bridges to be built in 2025 and beyond. ASRİAD Sakarya will continue this visionary journey from local to global with determination.”
