A University–Business Cooperation Coordinatorship Established in Sakarya

A University–Business Cooperation Coordinatorship has been established within Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBÜ).
The coordinatorship will ensure that models and activities such as the +1 Education Model and Fikir Sofrası, for which SUBÜ is a pioneer and active practitioner, are managed from a single center. It will also operate in a wide range of areas, from supporting scientific research and ensuring the qualified training of students, to discussing sectoral developments and challenges, conducting R&D activities, and supporting the university’s quality processes. New practices such as sector desks and clustering structures will also be implemented under the coordinatorship.
The University–Business Cooperation Coordinatorship will be led by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Zahid Yıldız, a faculty member of the Faculty of Technology.

It Will Develop Employment Databases for the Business World
The University–Business Cooperation Coordinatorship will carry out work in the following areas:
It will conduct SUBÜ’s strategic collaborations with the business world, public institutions, non-governmental organizations, and international organizations at an institutional level.
It will manage the +1 Applied Education Model and internship processes, integrating them with quality assurance mechanisms.
It will increase stakeholder participation through sector desks and clustering structures, and strengthen the interaction of students, graduates, and academics with the business world.
It will develop employment databases for the business sector.
It will set cooperation goals aligned with the university’s strategic plans.
It will analyze feedback from stakeholders and integrate it into education and R&D processes.
It will develop regional development–oriented cooperation models.
Additionally, it will regularly report and evaluate all coordinatorship activities.
