The construction of the Science Center, which is being built on a 7,500-square-meter area, has reached 50 percent completion.
The Science Center, which is being constructed by the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality using its own financial resources, will include an incubation center, foyer area, exhibition units, information desk, permanent and traveling exhibition halls, a TÜBİTAK point, as well as workshops focused on space, aviation, astronomy, natural sciences, mathematics, design, and technology.
Students from all age groups, ranging from primary school to university level, will benefit from the Science Center.
The center will also feature exhibition units designed to encourage young people and students to learn through hands-on experience. The Science Center will include 30 different exhibition units and 11 unique and iconic exhibition installations focusing on subjects such as water consumption, machines, three-dimensional objects, the light island, the periodic table, and astronomy cabins.
In addition, areas such as an echo tube, soil cross-section tube, satellite and space zone, and perspective room will also be part of the Science Center.
