SUBU Prepares to Contribute to the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem

Through the cooperation to be carried out within the scope of the TÜBİTAK BİGG program, it is aimed to transform the innovative ideas of young entrepreneurs into value-added technology startups.

Sakarya University of Applied Sciences (SUBU) has taken part as a strategic partner in the DeepCube Project, which is implemented under Phase 1 Acceleration of the TÜBİTAK 1812 – BİGG Investment Program conducted by Teknopark İstanbul Engineering and Consultancy Inc. With the strategic partnership covering the years 2026–2028, SUBU will bring together its practice-oriented education experience with deep-tech entrepreneurship.

Mentorship and Infrastructure Support

Within the scope of the cooperation, SUBU will focus primarily on talented students trained under the Technology Competitions Coordination Office, as well as all prospective entrepreneurs across Sakarya. During the commercialization process of innovative business ideas, SUBU will provide support through its Technology Transfer Office and Nehir Technokent in areas such as business model development and validation processes, professional mentorship support, consultancy for company formation and commercialization stages, as well as sectoral connections and networking mechanisms.

With its academic expertise and integrated working culture with the business world, SUBU is expected to accelerate initiatives particularly in the fields of defense industry, advanced materials, manufacturing technologies, and deep technology. Through the project, it is aimed to transform Sakarya’s qualified human resources into startups that can compete not only locally but also on an international scale.
