Sakarya’s Eight-Month Exports Exceed $3.5 Billion

Sakarya exported a total of $3.556 billion during the January-August period of 2026. In August, the sectors with the highest export volumes were the Automotive Industry, Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals, Steel, Chemicals and Chemical Products, and Machinery and Equipment.

Sakarya, which ranks as Türkiye’s seventh-largest exporting province, exported to 115 destinations around the world in August 2026, including free zones. The province’s largest export markets were Poland, France, Romania, Egypt and the United Kingdom.
