Smart Bicycle System in Sakarya Modernized and Reintroduced to the Public

The Smart Bicycle System (SAKBİS) of Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality has been modernized and reintroduced for public use. All bicycles have been renewed in line with current technological standards and can now be rented much faster.

Equipped with the latest technological innovations at 15 different stations, SAKBİS has entered a brand-new era. Through the modernization process, the entire SAKBİS system has been revamped, and the maintenance and inspections of the bicycles have been completed.

With a tariff of 50 kuruş per minute, the new system will offer citizens a more comfortable and safer transportation experience with its upgraded technological infrastructure.

In the new period, SAKBİS will operate with 100 bicycles across 15 stations. Thanks to the renewed system, SAKBİS bikes can now be easily rented via the user-friendly “Tazı” mobile application.
