Kar Metal, which has become a sought-after brand in global markets with its high-performance metal cutting machines, autonomous robots, and robotic arm production, is entering the second half of its first century with new investments. Established in 1975 with the aim of manufacturing special-purpose machines, the company will build a new factory — which will include a testing center — in the Kaynarca Machinery Specialized Organized Industrial Zone.
Providing information about their new investment plans, Kar Metal’s International Sales Director, Semih Kar, stated that the new factory, planned to cover 50,000 square meters of indoor space, will be dedicated to high-tech manufacturing. Emphasizing that the new investment will further strengthen their production infrastructure, Kar said Kar Metal will move forward into its second 50 years with a renewed vision.
“We continue to add innovative value to metal cutting machines with the technologies we develop through R&D efforts,” said Kar, and added: “We manufacture machines in two distinct segments — circular saws and band saws — for cutting metals of various sizes and hardness levels such as steel, aluminum pipes, and profiles. Our company, Kar Metal, has now become a prominent brand followed globally in the field of advanced technology sawing machines, thanks to the technological innovations we’ve implemented.
We have also achieved a world first by producing our new product, the ARX tower system, which enables vertical storage of materials like pipes and profiles in factory buildings. This system facilitates dispatch to production and preparation for cutting, while also solving the problem of storing round materials. It allows for vertical stacking of pipes, offers space efficiency, and enables real-time monitoring of stock movements.
With our high-performance metal cutting machines, the ARX tower system, autonomous robots, robotic arms, and proprietary software, we now have the capability to build dark factories. We possess the knowledge and infrastructure needed to implement these projects. In April, we will showcase our machines and systems at the world’s largest robotics fair in Germany, demonstrating our strength to the global market.”
