As one of Türkiye’s leading manufacturers of energy distribution and protection equipment, Federal Elektrik is putting into action a vision for stronger, more efficient, and more sustainable growth.
The company has established a robust production infrastructure through high-technology products developed at its R&D center and modernization investments in its production lines. It has now set its goals for 2025 and beyond.

Federal Elektrik Board Member Mesut Nurdoğan stated that the company’s key focus areas for 2025 and the following years will be fully integrated digital manufacturing, automation investments in production, and electric vehicle charging technologies.
Türkiye’s First Short-Circuit Test Laboratory
Nurdoğan noted that the company continues to develop innovative projects across a wide range of products— from electromechanical devices to measurement and control instruments, from natural gas meters to next-generation digital energy solutions.
He emphasized that their global position is strengthened by steadily increasing export figures every year, and added:
“We hold a strong position among the world’s leading low-voltage switchgear manufacturers. Federal was registered as a ‘Well-Known Trademark’ globally in 2008. By developing our own ERP software internally, we have digitalized all our processes from production to sales. In addition, we broke new ground in our industry with Türkiye’s first short-circuit test laboratory.”

Thanks to the Solar Power Plant (SPP) installed on the factory roof, a significant portion of electricity consumption is supplied from renewable sources. This investment both reduces carbon emissions and keeps energy costs under control, contributing to the company’s sustainable production goals.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Parallel to the transformation in energy infrastructure, Federal Elektrik has also completed its R&D work for electric vehicle charging stations and will soon begin mass production. These domestically designed products will offer modern charging solutions with smart grid integration and remote monitoring capabilities.
Nurdoğan stated that they deliver next-generation energy solutions with a team of 29 expert engineers and technical personnel working at the R&D center. He added that as Türkiye’s 910th R&D Center, they allocate 4% of their turnover to R&D activities and have completed numerous projects.

He shared the following details:
“We concentrate our R&D efforts particularly on smart grid solutions, energy efficiency, digital measurement technologies, and safety-oriented designs. We see R&D and innovation as a shared responsibility of all employees. In line with this, we have developed mechanisms that allow our employees to freely share and implement their ideas. One of these is the ‘Federal Improvement Form (FİT)’ system, designed to support a corporate culture of innovation. Through this platform, employees can directly present their innovative ideas on anything from process development to product design. Ideas that are put into practice bring value both to the company and to the employees. Sustainability lies at the heart of Federal Elektrik’s R&D vision. We approach innovation not only as technological advancement, but also as an environmental and social responsibility.”
