Altuğ also mentioned that they are working on projects for agricultural organized zones, as well as energy, food, logistics, and technology-oriented OIZs.

Kadir Yazgan: Kaynarca Mayor Kadir Yazgan stated that the factories in the two organized industrial zones are nearing the opening phase. In line with these developments, a Municipal R&D and Project Team has been formed to plan Kaynarca’s short, medium, and long-term development. He noted that they have started working on a 50- to 100-year plan for Kaynarca and shared the following information: “Currently, our district has a population of 25,000, but we are planning for a population of 80,000. We need to allocate enough zoned land for housing, social areas, schools, hospitals, sports facilities, and small industries. To urgently address the housing demand, we are in discussions with Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality. We also aim to cooperate with our OIZs on this. Initial steps have been taken for projects such as a sports hall with a 500-person capacity, a university dormitory for 400 students, a 160-person daycare center, a national garden, and more children's playgrounds. We are ready to do whatever is necessary for planned development and to prevent irregular urbanization in Kaynarca.”
