“Entrepreneur from the Ground Up” Project Olympics Competition Concluded in Sakarya

The Project Olympics, organized within the scope of the “Entrepreneur from the Ground Up” Project—implemented in cooperation with the Sakarya Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Sakarya Branch of the Entrepreneur Businesspeople Foundation—concluded with a project exhibition and award ceremony. The project, carried out in line with the vision of the Türkiye Century Education Model, aims to raise courageous, productive, and entrepreneurial individuals.

A total of 177 projects participated in the competition this year, including 63 from middle schools and 114 from high schools. Following the evaluation process, 10 middle school projects, 10 high school projects, and 4 projects in the special earthquake category advanced to the finals and were exhibited.

As part of the final program, the exhibition area was inaugurated by Member of Parliament Ertuğrul Kocacık, with the participation of Provincial Director of National Education Coşkun Bakırtaş and Sakarya Chairman of the Entrepreneur Businesspeople Foundation Baki Demir.

A special award aimed at raising earthquake awareness was presented to Yusuf Cemal Şengün, a student from Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, for his project titled “Sebis.”

Smart Fire Evacuation System

In the middle school category, the first prize was awarded to Umut Ocak from Kaynarca Fatih Secondary School for his project “Smart Fire Evacuation System.” The second prize went to Alperen Işık from Sakarya Science and Art Center for his project “Ciltas,” while the third prize was awarded to Elif Kaşhan from the middle school division of Şehit Yılmaz Ercan Anatolian Imam Hatip High School for her project “Myco-Oto.”

In the high school category, the first prize was awarded to Ahmet Uras Keskin from 15 July Martyrs Science High School for his project “Automatic Target Tracking and Defense System.” The second prize went to Gül Nihal Yener from Akyazı Eyyup Genç Science High School for her project “AI-Supported Water Management System,” while the third prize was awarded to Muhammed Berat Aktaş from Figen Sakallıoğlu Anatolian High School for his project “Food Detector.”

Digital Content Production

Within the scope of the program, the opening of the Content Production Studio—established by the Entrepreneur Businesspeople Foundation—was also held. The studio aims to support students in developing digital content production skills, media literacy, and next-generation communication abilities, while providing important infrastructure support to the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The project, which has been successfully implemented in Sakarya and is planned to expand each year, aims to integrate students into the entrepreneurship ecosystem at an early age and serve as a model for Türkiye.
