The “Sapanca Lake Underwater Photography Exhibition,” prepared as a result of two years of work by Hasan Coşkun—Sakarya Correspondent of Ekonomi Gazetesi and Vice President of the Sakarya Journalists’ Association—has opened. The proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to orphaned and fatherless children in Gaza.

Opened at Serdivan Agora Shopping Mall within the scope of January 10 Working Journalists’ Day, the exhibition features 32 photographs. The income generated from the exhibition, which includes images of many aquatic creatures, will be donated to orphaned and fatherless children in Gaza through the Turkish Red Crescent and IHH.
Organized under the theme “From Sakarya to Gaza,” the exhibition can be visited until January 16.

From Sakarya to Gaza

Turkish Red Crescent and IHH

Coşkun emphasized that Sapanca Lake is not only a source of drinking water but also a highly valuable ecosystem hosting many living beings, and that the life of every creature living in the lake is precious. He added that the proceeds from the photographs exhibited would be donated to orphaned and fatherless children in Gaza through the Turkish Red Crescent and IHH, and thanked all institutions and organizations that supported the exhibition—realized with contributions from Karmetal SAWlutions, Ekonomi Gazetesi, and sakaryaeconomynews.com—as well as everyone who attended.
