Sakarya-based heavy load transport systems manufacturer FADA Mühendislik continues its growth in global markets with advanced technology solutions developed in the field of off-highway heavy load transportation. While increasing its R&D investments in specialized transport systems developed for energy facilities, ports, shipyards and factories, the company is focusing its efforts on next-generation systems capable of carrying loads of up to 800 tons.

FADA Mühendislik General Manager İsmail Hakkı Akyüz said they develop customized engineering solutions according to their customers’ needs.

Stating that the company’s product portfolio consists of heavy load transport systems ranging from 5 tons to 500 tons, Akyüz said they aim to add systems with an 800-ton capacity to their product range in the near future.

FADA Mühendislik has a strong presence across all major industrial sectors, including the energy industry, transformer manufacturers, iron and steel, mold manufacturing, automotive, defense, logistics, rail systems and machinery manufacturing.

FADA’s product range includes autonomous AGVs, low-profile heavy load carriers, air-cushion transport systems, and specialized machines designed to transport molds, coils and large steel structures.

360-Degree Turning Capability

İsmail Hakkı Akyüz said the most important factor distinguishing FADA from its competitors is its customized engineering approach rather than standardized solutions.

Akyüz stated that, thanks to hydraulic lowering chassis technology, the vehicles can move underneath loads without the need for crane assistance.

He noted that the vehicles can operate safely in narrow factory areas and port facilities thanks to their 360-degree turning capability, crab steering system and high positioning accuracy. He also said that FADA provides internationally compliant solutions for facilities with sensitive floor load requirements through its air-cushion transport technologies.

Akyüz stated that more than 60% of FADA’s production is directed toward exports and that the company operates across a wide geography stretching from Europe to South America.

Noting that low-profile heavy load carriers developed particularly for the energy sector are in strong demand in international markets, Akyüz said specialized machinery developed for the wind energy industry has also started to stand out in the company’s exports.

He added that the company operates with a global service and maintenance network, providing uninterrupted support to customers in different parts of the world.

New Target: North America

Akyüz said North America is at the center of FADA’s new growth strategy, noting that rapidly increasing investments in energy, nuclear infrastructure and offshore wind energy in the region offer significant opportunities for the company.

Stating that the transportation of massive industrial equipment weighing between 500 and 800 tons is particularly within FADA’s area of expertise, Akyüz said the company’s corporate structuring process and operational centers in North America are growing rapidly.

He also stated that the company continues its investments in warehousing, assembly and service operations in Europe, adding that local operations enable FADA to provide faster service to global customers.

Akyüz said the company develops new products every year with its engineering and software teams. He noted that FADA is making significant investments particularly in autonomous navigation systems (AGV/AMR), air-cushion precision transport technologies, high-security area scanning systems and fleet management software. He added that the company is also continuing its global trademark registration and patent activities with determination.
